UEMSA offers First Aid medical services at USF sanctioned events.

All medical standby events are staffed by national and state certified Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and paramedics.

Medical equipment supplied by UEMSA includes:

• First Aid trauma supplies (band-aids, wound dressings, bleeding control, splinting, and ice packs)
• Basic airway management  
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

UEMSA does not provide transport services or carry medications (such as EpiPens or oxygen). If an event attendee is in need of further medical evaluation, treatment, or transport, UEMSA will coordinate with the USF Medical Response Unit (MRU) or 911 EMS system for assistance.
